The conversation this week has been about the ‘School Prom’. Despite being virtually unheard of in the UK 10 years ago the prom is now the highlight of the year for school leavers with lots of schools now adding a school prom to the final weeks of the summer term.

It has been our pleasure at Sweet Williams Cakes to share in the excitement of the high school proms creating indulgent and decadent cakes to mark this special occasion. Cupcakes have, by far, been the most popular choice when it comes to requests, with decoration customised to compliment the outfit.
