Love tokens

Valentine’s Day is always a hectic time of year and this year was no exception. We have lots of requests to include messages on our cupcakes or to include a special message on a card. Of course, Valentine’s Day is traditionally associated with tokens of love but other dates throughout the year are also special – the first date, the first anniversary – and sweet treats such as these red velvet cupcakes are the best way we know of making the occasion memorable. What’s your special day? – make it a day to remember.

Cupcake Bouquet

If you read our Blog regularly you will see that we very often receive requests from abroad to send messages in cake to a relative or loved one living or working locally. We have requests from Australia and the USA on a regular basis and also from France, Spain, Ghana and Kenya.

This request was for a cupcake bouquet in colours to suit a male recipient. Red Velvet was the cake of choice with Chocolate, Caramel and Silver Blue buttercream. We hope he enjoyed them – along with the surprise inside – chocolate truffles.

Wasps love Cupcakes!

Wasps… (the sporty, hunky, rugby types, you understand – not the buzzing, flying types with a nasty sting) really got to grips with our cupcakes during a touchdown at their training ground! It was all we could do to steer clear of the scrum during our delivery! This selection of oreo, red velvet and salt caramel cupcakes were sent with love to Brendan Macken of Wasps Rugby FC who celebrated his birthday recently. We hope he got to try a few, although it was looking doubtful when his team mates attempted a conversion! Those pesky Wasps….!

Holidays a-comin’

Holiday time has arrived and we’ve whipped, beaten, baked, iced and delivered the last of our orders before closing our doors for our summer break. Phew!

Before we go – we couldn’t resist sharing this delicious selection of cupcakes chosen by the University of Warwick.

We’re closed from Thursday 23 June until Monday 3 July 2016 – but don’t worry – you can still contact us via our contact page to place orders required after 3 July – when we’ll be dusting off our aprons again.

Cupcake Bouquets

‘It’s great to find a local business that could help at short notice’, was the comment when we received this order for a cupcake bouquet. The very thoughtful guy requested Red Velvet flavour cupcakes for his girlfriend. We know she likes flowers so we hope she enjoyed this floral tribute – and the surprise inside. What more could a girl ask? – flowers, cake and lovely surprises – oh, happy day!

Red Velvet Cupcake Heaven

Over the past year, Red Velvet has been one of our most regularly requested cake flavours. And why not? It is so moist and fluffy and the delicate tang from the cream cheese frosting – incredibly creamy, sweet, smooth and delicious – is the perfect compliment to the indulgently sweet red velvet crumb beneath. Simply put – red velvet cake is heavenly.
